The View is a cliff top sanctuary consisting of village houses overlooking the charming fishing village of Salema. This deluxe beach resort commands spectacular views over the beach and ocean beyond. The View has its own 24 hour reception, barbistro and communal outdoor heated pool - plus discounted golf and all of the facilities at Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort are a five minute drive away! Parque da Floresta also offers a special welcome for children between the ages of three and ten at the fantastic Floresta Fun Club open all year round. For older children between the ages of eight and sixteen during the school holidays there is a full program of junior sports at the Activ8 Club. For children between the ages of four and sixteen who love football, we have as well the Parque Football Academy ran by the ex-Birmingham and Tranmere footballer, Mark McCarrick. These soccer sessions take place in Easter and during Mid Term Break on May, Summer Holidays July and August and October Half Term. For golf lovers we offer the most challenging 18-hole par 71 course at the western Algarve, which winds its way magically through the resort. The Vigia Golf Academy is where you can refine your swing and other golf techniques. Located in the heart of Parque da Floresta is Spa Floresta where you can relax and find the latest health and beauty treatments and most up-to-date fitness facilities.

Transportation - The View Hotel Budens
Leaving Faro airport, follow the signs to Faro. Drive past the car hire company depots and continue along this road until you come to a flyover. Drive across the flyover and follow the signs for Portimão. You will join a dual carriageway and need to follow the blue signs for the A22 motorway. Keep in the left hand lane, following the A22 in the direction of Lisbon, Albufeira and Portimão. After approximately 2km, keep right and take the slip road sign-posted Lisboa, Loulé, Portimão (motorway). You are now on the A22 heading west in the direction of Portimão. Stay on the A22 until you reach junction 1 - the second and most westerly Lagos exit (DO NOT take the Lagos Este and Odeáxere exit). Take the exit, follow the road and at the second roundabout turn right, following the signs for Vila do BispoSagres. You will now be on the EN 125 road. After about 15km you will come to the village of Budens and you will see the supermarket Ecomarché' on your right. Approx 400m after this, you will reach a set of traffic lights, (where you will see to your right Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort') - turn LEFT at the lights towards Figueira - proceed straight ahead - do not be tempted to take the turning left to Salema. Follow this road for approximately 1km,where you will see a sign directing you left to Salema. Turn left and after approx 1km you will see another signpost for Salema. Turn right at the first available road (ignore dirt tracks and apartment block entrance). Proceed straight ahead. At the stop sign, turn right. Follow this road around, passing a small block of blue and white houses on your left. Continue up the hill until you reach the end of the road where you will see the signs for The View. Turn right. You are now entering the resort and the reception is on your right hand side.
